2004

Rich Tapestry began focusing solely on the growing demand for high quality large format printing and further technological investment was made.

We now use both Hewlett Packard and Epson large format printers, supported by a secure PC based network with high-speed broadband connections. Extensive software capabilities are employed in the design and production of high quality imagery.

For the technically minded, the company employs a colour-managed workflow using recommended ICC profiling processes. It means we are very good at faithfully reproducing the correct colours.

We use both pigment (Epson) and dye based ink systems (HP) depending on the end use of the imagery. The pigment based inks are confidently predicted to provide a life expectancy in excess of 50 to 100 years depending on the media being used. Dye based inks are ideal for shorter use requirements.

2005

Rich Tapestry became an Adobe Authorised Print Service Provider, which recognises both the company’s technical excellence and artistic capabilities.

2006

We are producing, for the second time, limited edition fine art giclee prints, which will be exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Rich Tapestry was founded by Dick Gilliver, an experienced businessman, consultant and entrepreneur. Some highlights of his career include:
